This is me…
My name is Jordan (the dude in the photo). I come from a family of photographers, my Dad does commercial photography and my brother does multimedia for Harvard, and I was the ugly duckling that never wanted a camera in my hand. I don’t know if it was the rebellion or a greater appreciation for always trying to be in the moment when something interesting was happening, but I never wanted anything to do with a camera. It was always my dream to run my own restaurant so after college I found myself wrist deep in scolding hot french fries holding down expo while 40 of my employees ran around a brand new restaurant in Waltham, MA pretending like they knew what they were doing. It was… an experience for sure and I lasted 3 years as a restaurant manager.
Fast forward to 2 years later…

We make enough money to make videos full time and live a life of travel
Tell me this would be the case 3 years ago and I would tell you you’re absolutely crazy
But it wasn’t all butterflies and rainbows
We struggled with YouTube… A lot. Editing the videos took a lot of time and the success was limited. I had no idea what I was doing and would spend DAYS putting a video together, all for very little monetary return (after 3 months of full time dedication we made just $.41). It took me a while to learn how to edit video in a way that was captivating, made people hit the subscribe button and ultimately made me proud of the work I had done.
